Erik is the founder of Viking Media. Since being established in 2017, the firm has invested in over 50 companies. Erik has over 20 years of experience in IT industry and his rich background brings a dynamic combination of strategic, operational and entrepreneurial expertise to Viking Media. He has lived and worked in Norway and the Sweden.

Erik’s career began at McKinsey & Company and he went on to work as VP Marketing (distribution) at NetCom GSM ASA, CEO at Schibsted Nett and Scandinavia Online and Partner at Arthur Andersen.

Erik has an MCs in Computer Science from the Norwegian Institute of Technology and has an MBA from INSEAD, France.

Hansen is CEO of Viking Venture. He is passionate about technology and his expertise in business strategy and commercialization has time after time driven results for fast-growing software scale-ups. Hansen has over 18 years of experience from the IT industry. He has lived and worked in Norway.

Before joining Viking, Hansen worked with business development at Telenor Norway and Telia Norway

Hansen has an MSc in Computer systems Networking and telecommunication from University of Oslo.

Luisa is Viking Venture’s General Manager. She heads up the whole operation process and team management fi. Luisa has lived and worked in China.

Prior to Viking Venture, Luisa worked as an operation manager at Telenor Norway. This background has given her extensive experience in terms of operation and management in IT industry.

Luisa has an MSc in Professional management from the Norwegian Business School.

Nick is Head of Sales at Viking Media. His extensive experience in M&A and business modelling are important resources for Viking’s portfolio companies. Additionally，Zhao has broad experience from building sales engines, pricing projects and financing. He has more than 15 years’ experience from the IT industry. Nick has lived and worked in Beijing and Norway.

Before joining Viking, Zhao worked in Sales Manager at Ericsson & as Sales Manager at China Mobile.

Zhao has a Bachelor degree from the Beijing Institute of Technology, China and Master degree from the University of Warwick, UK.
